Default honda recon 250

i have a 99' honda recon 250 2 wheele drive. while you riding everything is normal and it rides fine but when are stopped you can move the tires back and forth as if something was worn out. if you have any ideas let me know.

I assume you have checked the lug nuts, and they are tight???

Assuming the above is not the problem, most likely the nuts on the hubs have worked loose. Take the wheels off, pull the cotter pin out of the nut that holds the hub on, and tighten the nut up. If you have let it go to long, you may have stripped the splines on the hubs/axle, which will mean they will have to be replaced ($$$$).

if the whole rear end moves and not just one tire, look at the swingarm bolt and see if its sliding
