i am looking at a 2001 300ex for 1600$. it comes with a set of paddle tires, white brothers exhaust pipe, extra sprocet and chain, handgard. just wondering if this was to good to be true. it sounds like it runs good. does anyone have likes or dislikes of the 300ex's?

 

The 300 is a great machine! Maybe the best tight woods quad of all time. Do be sure that the frame is big enough for you....if not skip it for a 400EX.

As for prices I'm not up on that right now, but most 01's out there will have a lot of hours on them......

 

sounds like a really good deal. If it runs good and its a good size then i would buy it. Just make sure that she's not buring any oil. I bought a 2001 400ex and saw it smoking so i had to rebuild the whole top end.
