anyone know how many sockets the 420 ranchers are prewired for

If you are talking about the 12V cigarette style...I believe it is only one. I believe you have to buy the Honda OEM version to get it to work with the pre wired harnass. It is around $40.

i have that one ......i would like to add one to the back and i was hoping they had another plug some where

i ended up wiring to the starter relay and put it in the storage box

Great job! I'd love to have one on mine but it looks too confusing to wire up. I have no idea. I bet it would be great for my gps and possible a cooler for longer trips

my rancher was prewired for one in the front.....i added it but wanted another for the back

from what ive learn most hondas ether have one or are prewired what model do you have

I have the 07 trx420fm.
Is it hard to install the accessory socket?

its prewired for one under the right front fender ...just look under there and you will see it

Just had the dealer add one to mine. It already has an extra 10 amp fuse that you can dedicate the plug to. They can put it anywhere you want it. Had mine put in the left front next to the steering column. They did a clean job and it looks like it came with it.
