I saw a post somewhere stating that this place sells 2001 400ex's for $4999. And that price includes freight charges and pre-delivery charges. Their website is www.hondadiscountprices.com. Can this be right or do you think there are some hidden charges? The place is located in Mississippi. I live in Nebraska and can only find them as cheap as $5600. Then they tac on the freight charges, sales tax, etc... Anyone ever deal with these people and can verify that really is the price? I'd hate to drive all the way to Mississippi to find out theres some hidden $1000 charge.

If you search around alot before you buy usually you can find pretty good deals. Just bought a 2000 blaster for $1,500 in new condition. Saw in the local classifieds a couple months ago, "1999 400ex moving to city $2,000" oddly enough in the same classifieds there was a "1998 warrior must sell $1,800" you never know what you will find if you take the time to look. Wish I would have had the money I would have bought both!

This place is less than 2 hours from where I live. A good friend of mine just went there about a month ago and bought a new Banshee. The prices are correct, and they will not come off the price at all. He said he saw 4 ATV's go out the door while he was there picking his up. He said there was about 20 salesmen running around, and were staying busy. If you plan on driving there, call first to make sure they have one in stock. He had to get them to hold one for him while he was driving there. Ill tell him about this post, maybe he can clarify any other questions. This place is in MS, and we live in TN, so he had to pay sales tax when he got it home.

Get a Minneapolis, MN. Sunday paper. There are usually two dealers (one in MPLS. and one in Cambridge, MN which is 60 miles NE of Mpls.) that are giving " consumer bargin" prices. Prices quoted are "out the door" prices. And it is a lot closer than MS.

Get it from them if you live close enough. Their volume allows them to price them as such.

Lake Hill Motors prices are as advertised. I bought a 2000 Rancher FM(4x4 manual) for $4600 out the door. No sales tax or setup fees. They sold 6 others while I was there(about 45 minutes). I drove from Atlanta, GA to get mine. Good luck.

I got my new Banshee at the place you are talking about. It is Lake Hill Motors in Corinth, MS. Phone is (601)287-4451. There prices are real. I got my Banshee out the door for $5499, that is $500 less than retail. The main reason I went there was the fact that they have no setup fee or paperwork charges, which can end up adding an extra $300 to your price. They can charge that price because they sell high volume. I went on a Saturday and they were packed. I'm the Dude that "Chevelle" was talking about in the other post. Give them a call you can't beat their price. I called eight other dealers before I bought it from them only one of those would match the price and all of them had "hidden charges" that Lakehill Motors did not have.

That's the place to buy if you are in traveling distance.Lake hills motor and marine give them a call 1-800-569-6205. They deal in very high volume and make their money buy selling a large amount of bikes and not over pricing one bike and making their money that way.And the price for a 400ex out the door is 4999.99.
