you shouldnt have to change your jets because your not really adding any more flow.

What year and Model is it, and you say remove the baffle??? stock muffer?????? I rejet mine when I get them ! have 2 Ex400 Honda. a 2004&2005. The reason i jet upbigger is from the factory they are set Lean!!,and cold natured!!!! I just get a main&idle jet from a honda shop.I will go up 2 sizes on the main and 1 on the idle,Then they start and run better before they get hot.Heres the Deal to Rich you foul a Plug,To lean and you Waste a motor.Plugs are cheap, New motors arent!!! I also have a 350 Banshee, I have rebuilt a couple times, on a fresh motor I always start out RICH!!!! then rejet after its got some time on it.You have to know how to read the plugs, and how to test drive a plug read.I take mine out on a flat blacktop road,Hold it WOT in 4TH or 5TH gear for a-ways, maybe a 1/4 mile,Hit kill switch, pull cluch in, stop, and then pull the plugs and read them, that will tell you the real deal on the Fuel Supply your getting.Just riding it around threw the gears wont give you a good reading!!!And if you let it idle much it will always show Rich.JMHO>>>> Luck<<<Eddie>>>>

It can be rode without jetting, but performance may lag and it may backfire when letting off. Probably should rejet
