Have 2000 400ex and wanting to put in either high compression piston or bore it out to no bigger than 426. Just wondered if going to a 416 or 426 is worth the money or just put in a high compression and stay at 400. I like bottom end and mid range ride usually only on tracks. Any info would be great and also what grind cam works the best with it. Thanks Teamtraxxx

I run a 426 with a 450/451 grind cam from webcam. I also run a 39mm FCR carb K&N air filter, open airbox most of the time.. and a Big Gun exhaust system (soon to be a DMC)... I want more top end....
This setup is way better than stock.....

how do you like your FCR carb?? does it bolt right on out of box or do you have to do anything to the motor?? i have been thinking about either a FCR or the quicksilver carb. everyone has their opinion. i was just woundering how you thought your quad has gained from bottom-mid-to top end??
thanks paul
