to cam or not to cam?

Default to cam or not to cam?

Hey guys new to fourm. boy theres alot of info here, Got a question, I have a 94 trx300fw as so does a friend of mine who toasted his ride. He said I could have his cam and jet kit. question is what will I get from these mods and will they eventualy toast mine as well? any input would be great!

Welcome to the forum.

Be careful with a cam from a "toasted" engine. It may not be useful at all.
And if you do use his cam, be sure to get the rocker arms from that same engine because once a cam has been "used", you need the rockers that are already "worn" to that cam. Not doing that usually leads to premature failure in a hurry to both.
