Default oil in airbox

I have a 06 Rancher 350. Today noticed that my drain tube was black so i opened up my airbox. There was this brownish black fluid on the bottom. I touched it and it was slippery so it was oil. There wasent that much then i drained it and cleaned the airfilter. The airfilter had this black spot on the bottom where the oil driped from. It was a pain in the *** to clean that airfilter i should of used gas instead of the pj1 airfilter cleaner. Then i went ride for 20 minutes and went home and checked the airbox. When i opened it the airbox was 1/4 full of oil. I tuched the oil and it was hot so it was oil for sure.

What could be causeing oil to get into my airbox and how could i fix it.
By the wat when i was rideing my friend noticed blue smoke comeing from the pipe.

Any advice would be nice before i spend hundreds on repairs.

Is the engine over filled with oil? If so it could blow out the vent. If not, you could have a stuck or worn piston rings causing compression blow by, which is blowing air into the crank causing it to come out the vent. Check the oil level first, then do a compression test.
