I wanted to get a gorilla winch for my 2007 rancher 2x4 but the winch plate they sell for the 07 rancher says not recommended may interfere with steering. has anyone tried this plate and or have any info on it.

 

i got a gorilla winch and plate for my 07 420 .......didnt fit and after i got the warn winch and plate im glad i did

most people will say gorillas are great but after you see the wiring and everything else you will understand

you cant use any other mount but gorillas

I also have a gorilla winch and was curious does anyone know what you all have to do for the warranty on it as far as sending it in and getting it replaced and what not?

 

I have a gorilla winch and mounting plate on my 07 rancher and when you turn sharp to the right the left tire will rub the winch, but I havent had much problems with it. Also everything is stock on my 4x2 07 Rancher if this helps any.

 

My buddy (700 sportsman) has a Gorilla winch and he had some problems. They sent him new parts and finally got it all figured out. In the end he ended up with two winches and the problems for the most part figured out.

 

Is it worth buying from their regular store? There's over $100 difference in price for the 6month vs. Lifetime Warranty.

 

I had one that the gears tied up and the spool busted
and they sent me the parts
and then I that one took a crap and they sent me a whole new one in 2 days
I have had to use the new one yet

 

Anyone know what size of this will definately fit in the 07-08 Rancher? I am looking at getting one and want to make sure so that I dont have to send it back. Thanks.
