1.5 turns on fuel screw
ride 5000 ft about flat land desert riding
still stick muffler and air box snorkel removed

my trx 07 450r seems to run great after the new jet kit the only problem is its still have ing a hard time to start. it wont start with the choke on at all and if it does it wont stay running. any body give me a idea what to do or what i missed.

 

Bump up your pilot jet.

 

i put a 50 pilot and fuel screw did nothing for it

 

today i changed pilot back to a 45,leakto a 50 and 1.5 turns on screw.
i also changed the other jet next to the main (i'm not sure what it is called someone let me know) from a 70 to a 75 and now a few wacks at the throttle and is starts now also the choke is working like it should now.
why does changing the other jet make a difference in starting and the choke
i am sure i got the jetting close to where it should be i am nowhere near a pro at jetting so if anyone thinks leave the other jet i changed to a 75 at 70 or a different size please let me know your suggestions
