Default honda dirtbike qwestion

ok i am now also looking at buying a dirtbike. which is better crf 230 or a crf150?
ill be chekin up.

I depends on what you plan to use it for, you riding ability, and your physical size.

THe CFR 150"R" is a pure motocrosser. It can be a lot of bike to the novice rider. The CRF 230 is a full size bike, I think it may have electric start. Their also is the CFR150, its a scaled down version of the 230 without elec start. Both the CRF150 and 230 are excellent bikes for trail busting.

ive talk with a lot of people who have the 230s and they endup not liking them i would go with the 250x or 450x

upgrading aint cheap

the 230s just dont have the suspension that are any good and that can get high dollar to upgarde as well.........if your not comfortable your not going to ride it

The 230 is a sweet little machine. Simple, reliable, and inexpensive. Great trail/play bike!

The 150 has a high strung engine. I would pick it for the track, but not as an enduro.

Take a look at the new CRF230L dual-sport. Sure, it is kind of heavy, less suspension so a lower seat height, but you have the advantage that is it street legal....
