Default floor boards/ mud guards

I just bought a 2001 Honda Rancher but it is missing the floor board moldings. It also covers about half of the front of the rear tire as a mud guard. I saw you can buy an aftermarket steel mesh type floor boards but what can you do about the part to cover the tire? I would be willing to do without the floorboards because the pegs are there but would like some type of mudflap covering for the rear tire. Thanks for any help.
