If you have aol instant messenger instant message FOXCREW69 He tells me that his Recon is now a true 300 and can go alomst 62 mph...that'd be awesome to have a recon like that..he also has a pipe and stuff on it too though.

FOXCREW69 here , yes my recon is bored out to a true 300 and I brought it to a place right down the road from my house and he told me he could do it himself but for alittle more he could send it out somewhere and get it bored out to a 289 but I told him I wanted a 300 so he found a 270 head off of something and had that bored out to a 300 and got it ported polished and nickled . any more questions ?

No company currently makes a big-bore kit for the Recon (trust me, after I got my 400ex I was disgusted at the recons power, so I called all of the big bore companies (IMS, Powroll, ect...) and nobody makes one. But with the introduction of the 250ex, I bet somebody will start making a bore kit for it, which would in turn, be compatable with the Recon.

Whats a rebore like that cost roughly and will the carb handle it or do you have to replace or reset the carb too ?
