so i have an 05 rincon that is temporarily borrowed from a friend that
I need to change the oil in... I have changed yamaha and suzuki atv oil before but never a honda... and i am not certain on exactly what I need to do... Im a little skiddish because i have heard there is more than one drain plug and you need to replace gaskets and bolts...this true? memorial day weekend and im trying to ride it tomorow so any help is much appreciated... also.. how much oil is reccommended?

The Rincon only has 1 drain bolt .. Honda recommends raising the front several inches like driving the bike up on a couple of 2x4's or using a jack to raise the front end some this will help get more oil out ...

The tip I'd add is that there is a metal washer between the spring and the filter. It has a tendency to stick to the filter, and if you aren't aware it is there it would be easy to throw it away with the old filter.
Also make sure to idle the machine for 3 minutes or so, and let it sit for 2 minutes before checking the oil, and you want the oil level at the full mark.
Be sure to use oil rated API SG or higher and JAMSO MA.
