I didn't mean any offense, just that having the motor TDC on the wrong stroke is one of the errors I've seen people make.

How loud is this tick, and is there any chance that it was there before?

 

ok well i just got done doing the adjustment agian, it was off a little bit, prolly arouind .011. so i adjusted it back to .009 and no more valve noise BUT i dont seem to have throttle response like i did before. weird.....im going to take it out on a test drive [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

ok well the test drive went good, no more noise......but it did seem to lack a little power......so i guess you just have to find a happy medium....i guess i will just leave it as it is for a a few weeks or so and see how it does....thanks for the help
