Default Pipe

My pipe on my 400ex is getting really hot it melted my shoe is there any way that that can be cooled down?

It could be running too lean. Does the header glow bright red after running for a while?

if you cant figure out why it's getting so hot. try and use automotive header wrap. its a fiberglass cloth that you can wrap around the pipe. i think i seen some at a local autozone. or check out summit or jegs.com. i'v even seen the guys on occ use it.
