I am going to be changing the pipe on my Raqncher soon and I understand that I will also need to change the jetting to gain all of the benifits. I have never tried to jet a carb before (but can do most mech. work without a problem) can someone explain how I need to do this. I tried to buy the service manual but everyone is sold out (including the net). Thanks

Its pretty simple, take off the boots, bring the carb down as far as you can so you can work on it. Look on the bottom of it, you will see 4 screws holding the bottom plate in, take those out and the bottom plate will come off, some gas will also flow out. Inside on the upper part you will see the main jet in the center with a piece of plastic around it. Using a socket gently loosen it untill it comes out, then slowly pull it out once its lose. Put in the new jet and put it all back together.
Just be slow about it and write or draw yourself a diagram. I have only jetted 2 quads before, the blaster was my first and did the banshee about 2 weeks ago.
Also when jetting make sure not to get any dirt or anything in there, and make sure you put the boots back on right. If you have a digital camera or old poloroid its good to take pictures while your working on it.
Hope this helps.
