Opinion Poll.... 300 vs. Rancher.....
#1
Looking to get a 2x4 300 or Rancher. Based on your experience, are the Ranchers as bulletproof as the 300's? I'm getting a manuel shift so ES problems will not happen to me. If a Rancher will take the abuse a 300 will im sold on it. Thanks.

Think of the Rancher as the new and improved 300.
More Power, more ground clearance, Runs faster.
Go compare them at the Honda website, Thats why I bought Mine
2000 Honda Rancher
2000lb.Warn Winch, Snorkel(thanks to Texmudder's site) Custom built skid plate and front and rear bumpers(KY welding tool& Die)

I think the Rancher will replace the 300 as the most reliable quad made, without the ES and digital readout. You can't go wrong with the Rancher.
But do yourself a favor, and don't listen to the folks that tell you that a 2x4 will go everywhere a 4x4 will go. 90% of the time you wont need the 4x4, but the first time you get REALLY STUCK, you will wish you had spent the extra $$. I did.

I have a 300 2/4, and I don't think its possible to build a tougher quad. I jump right with the sport atv's and it holds together real well, providing a decent landing.I think the 300 is the most versitile quad ever made.Easy to work on last forever!
