Now I know a 2 wheel drive 229 cc ATV is probably not the best set up for plowing but can anyone shed some light on any experience thay've had in this regard. I was thinking of trying to plow with my recon. Am I wasting my time trying ? And is a plow available for this quad ?

 

Yes there is actually ... I was at my dealership and they have a recon out that has a plow and everyting on it.. its pretty nice.... i wanna get one for mine but its kinda expensive i think .. just go to your dealer or call them and ask them about it

 

No,I don't think you would be wasting your time.I bet your Recon could plow snow as good as some of the lawn tractors I see plowing.Get you a set of tire chains,and a bag of tube sand on your back rack and you will be suprised at what that 229cc will do.

 

I have the Cycle country plow for mine, and MUD chains. The problem I have is that the plow isn't heavy enough to scrape the black top. It leaves a quarter inch thick layer of snow that I can't get plowed. I'm tryin to figure out how to put some weights on the plow.
