Anyone had the recall work done?
My dealer says they are only getting one kit a month!

 

The recall consists of replacing both of the front CV axle assemblys...from the hub to the front differential.

And I agree with you Gimpster 100%.

 

got my recall today....now i have to wait for a second letter .......how long does the recall last ......if i dont get a chance to take it in right away

 

Anyone have a US bike and try and get it done in Canada yet?

 

Can I assume that since mine is brand new...meaning I just bought it that I don't have to worry about this? Otherwise, how will you know if the problem has been taken care of?

 

well if you got it after the recall the dealer couldnt have sold it with out doing it

If it's anything like cars, they have to perform the recall before they can even sell it or the new parts are already installed at the factory, before it's shipped.
