ITs like groundhog day for me

Long story made short

on my 96 scrammy, sprocket hub sheered off, busted chain, busted carrier a bit, chain busted trans.. in trying to get that DAMNED hub off.. i broke even more peices on my maybe usable carrier at the time (nice tight bearings still)

So i ordered a used carrier on ebay, the guy said 'carrier in great shape, bearings have some play' yeah.. ok They were SPUNNNNNNNNNN
So i had to have my friends use his HASS V series to machine out the surfaces again,
to 40 thousanths, so i could put 20 thou shim stock over the bearings and press
them in tight.

So, i buy this 300ex to ride while my scrambler is in disrepair, and maybe to keep it
(ive fallen in love with the 300ex)

Chains keeps falling off... Need a half link to tighten it right..
turns out the carrier is all the way in the tightest spot already, and the sprocket was a little bent, straightened the sprocket, and messed with the chain and carrier, got it good and tight for 1 ride, next day same thing, chain falling off
every 2 mins.

So i jack it up, and the axle has a little play up and down, left and right,

In your opinions dealing with these hondas,

Is it Spun out inside? or are the bearings bad?
please let the bearings be bad ( i have new ones)

If they are spun, what did you guys do to fix it?

If its spun, i cant get the new ones in tight, can i grease it all up
with ne wbearings and seals, and ride it like that untill a new twin roller
carrier gets here? (100$ on ebay)

can i shim the old one with success? or peen it out (tap some ruff spots into the carrier to hold the bearings?)

i tried peening out my scrambler, and since the carrier was alum, and the bearings hardened steel, it just flattened the spots out

Rear axle has some play, left right, up down

What do you guys think the problem is?

if its spun, how would you go about fixin it?
