i do waste water treatment..........if you do any kind of trades they are looking for people and pays good.......warzones pay a lot more

There are job opportunities in my field in various places like that, too, which pay really well, but mostly in various arm pits of the world...

 

arm pits yes.........but im single and my kids are grown.........and i want to travel and getting some else to pay for it is the only way im going to see the world

i dont want to sit in my living room and watch the bull the news spits out..........i want to see it for myself

 

Yeah, I could see doing that when I get close to retirement age... A couple years of seeing the world, plus a six figure bump to the retirement fund wouldn't be too bad if positions some place reasonably stable are available...

 

yea man its all tax free and ive already payed all i need to pay into the system so its not going hurt me when i do start collecting

all the big defense contrators are now doing base work like KBR..........building O&M in support of are troops.

this sound corny put theres a lot of kids out doing a great job and i would like to see them ...........and reep a little money

 

standard 7-5 job for me. i sit infront of a computer all day designing houses. although i dont know how much more i can take [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] been doing it for over 10 yrs now.

i would love to see the world...i dont think i would like to see iraq tho

 

jrafter, my brother an hvac tech, left 6 months ago. he said its 120 degrees in the shade, but he is already planning to extend his contract for another year.

btw, he gets paid almost like a damn doctor over there( he even paid me money he borrowed 5 years ago) [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img], not bad at all for a single 23 yro kid. his only gripe is lack of beer and women.
