I was looking at the fast trak on atvscene.com They were talking about the new suzuki quad to be released this spring. They also had a interesting thread about Honda releasing a 400EXR version soon. I guess we'll see.

 

Did they give any info on it?

 

does that mean it will have reverse?
wonder if they'll up the HP?
they should add a back-up kick starter too!

I may be wrong but wasnt 400EXR the low polution 2 stroke engine they were testing?? I cant remember for sure its been awhile since i read that article.

 

I don't think it would be a two stroke, as X usually stands for a four stroke. Just a guess though. They didn't say anything about specs so your guess is as good as mine. I just hope it is not another lame name change for the 400EX.

Honda has been secretly testing a new race dirt bike called the RC450X. It is a 450 4 stroke in a CR frame. I have seen it in magazine articles. I would place a bet that this engine makes it into the 400EX frame.

 

I think your right. The new four stroke motocross dirt bike they are releasing has a liquid cooled 450. I bet that motor will be in the 400EXR. It is "suppose" to have big hp. They always lose power by the time they make it an ATV motor. Maybe they will come through this time.

 

Hey, Why would they call it a 400EXR if it's a 450? Hopefully atvscene is wrong. I cant wait!!
