I have a 2003 sportrax 300 ex that my brother in law gave to me. He is in jail and does not have the keys so we hot wired it to start without it. Why do I have such a problem getting it into neutral when I stall it. It has to be perfectly level to get it back into neutral. This is a big pain in the *** when in the woods. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

The clutch is probably not disengaging all the way. Check your clutch free play.
