Default HRC cam VS. Hotcams stage 2 TRX450R

I'm planning on spending the money this week for an aftermarket cam. I ride dunes only in western Oregon. Which ones going to get more bang for the buck and has anyone had mechanical failures with either one?

Dunno about the Hotcams....... but I rode my buddy's 450R with full HRC kit and the thing is an absolute beast..... it has so much low-end that you almost cannot pin the throttle at low speeds or it will stand up on you.... you need to "roll" the throttle on out of the corners if you want to be able to steer.....lol....... his has been very reliable, not one problem and he does not ride it soft......

I've studied up on this quite a bit for my bro who has a 450R. It seems that the HRC "Kit" is a good deal because it is a "kit". But, if you already have an exhaust and filter like my bro all you are going to use is the cam anyway. Most things I've seen and people I spoke with said that the Hotcam Stage II is the best cam you can get for a 450R. Local motor sport shop owner told me he has been putting them in for years with no issues.
