Hi
I've done the 440 kit and indeed they have gasket probs, but then again, not all of them.
the 440 has way more power then stock,plus a whole lot more torke, but I've seen well done 426's beating 440's.
so i think the 426 is the way to go. just my 2 cent!

Unless you *like* to do that kind of fabbing you might be better off money-wise to buy a 450r than modifying everything you would have to modify for a swap.
