O.K. all you Honda lovers out there...if you had the opportunity to trade a '98 Honda Recon for a '99 Yamaha Banshee, would you do it?! Especially if you mostly ride in the woods and are 5'3. If you wouldn't, please don't say because it's a Yamaha...tell me your legitimate beef with the machine itself. Both bikes are in great working shape with nice plastic. Please help

whoever is going to give you that deal has to be out of their mind!!!i would definitly do it even if it was just to turn around and sell the banshee. unless you have lots of mods it is an awsume deal

If you ride in the woods you don't want a banshee. They have no bottom end and handle terribly. And your recon will hold its value way better than the banshee

Just get the banshee and trade it in for a better machine! Thats a really easy question. It depends on what shape the banshees in though, I mean it might have bad tires or might have been mistreated. But dont let me make your decisions for you.............

The banshee is a $6000 machine brand new, the Recon is $3600 brand new. The '99 banshee would have to have been abused pretty badly to not be worth more than the "98 recon.

2 strokes lose there value unless they say TRX250R
on them. But I agree with monica81 completly and you can buy a 99 banshee around here for 3000 to 3500 all day long.

Hey trailqueen... didn't know you were going to trade for it. I would think again about that one. You should wait like you planned and buy a 300ex or something like that. I don't think you will be real happy with the 2stroke shee...

As a owner of a Recon I wouldn't make that trade. The reason is the newer Banshee which cost more initially MUST have something wrong with it. That deal is TOO good to be true! Either the Banshee has something wrong with it or its stolen. BE CAREFUL
