Hello,
New to the ATV thing so please forgive me for asking so many questions. I did order a manual last night though.
Anyway...The 1986 4x4 Fourtrax 350 starts fine, idles fine but when it goes into gear it dies. Any ideas?
I would like to add that when it really warms up then it does not die. Carb. related? One guy thinks at work it is electrical. Any comments are appreciated.
Thanks,
Allen

I've had several new carbed Hondas in the last 10 years or so, an they all do that. Give it about 5 minutes to warm up good an that won't happen.

Remove the seat. There are a few wires going over the upper frame rail where the seat rides. They have rubber coated bullet connectors just below the rail. Check these connectors and make sure they are tight. I've seen this issue when shifting in gear and also wen you move around on the seat. They loose connection
