I'm goin to pick an 07 450 on saturday and was wondering what people thought were the best air filters and the best pipe for the money.

 

Uni air filter and I have a full Yoshimura system.
You'll get many opinions on pipes.

 

Honda HRC kit! The fastest 450 I know of, is bone stock + the HRC. Get the dealer to install it for you as an incentive to buy it.....

 

Ok, forgot this one....

The wire canister inserts that are found on stock Hondas are very restrictive. Ditch the thing and get a ProDesign (ProFlow) adapter and filter (made by UNI). I also run an EHS Racing airbox lid with Outerwears cover, in preference to running without any lid at all.

I have an FMF PowerBomb header and Factory 4 muffler, but although the stock muffler is ugly, when uncorked it is as good as any aftermarket. (HRC kit comes with a hi-flow header.)
