Default 250x hybrid coversion underway

Hey all.. I have an OLD 250x that I am in converting... I have purchased a 300ex motor with a national kit (should be insaine) FCR carb, and CDI that match. I was wondering how to widen the A-arm's.. Have looked at Diamon J product.

Sooo... I was thinking, how about 400ex A-Arms, with 400ex shocks?

What about the rear swing arm? If I added height up front, how can I make the back higher?

Also I plan to go with rear wheel spacers, how much should I offset? Wider up front than the back?

I primarily run trails.. Not motorcross...

Any suggestions would be great...

400ex a arms and shocks are a great low cost way to get more width and travel up front, but you need to buy a upper mount kit or move the top shock mounts,or the front will sit up at a very high angle and look rediculous. A better rear shock is a must, I put a revalved 2001 Raptor shock on my son's, but a good quality aftermarket shock will work as well, plus you can have them built to your specs for weight and type of riding. You need to have the back wider or as wide as the front, or it will handle funny, I put 1" spacers on mine, or you can get offset hubs, or buy rims with more offset.
