Default Question?

I currently have Kenda Bear Claws, 26x12x12 on my 420 Rancher's wheels.. I am planning on replacing the front tires with the same brand and make of tire BUT and going down to 26x9s (3 inch difference in width).

I am a bit worried that the 3 inch reduction in the width will make it look a bit... Odd? Meaning, big fat tire in the back in a skinny one in the front.

I am doing this in an attempt to get some of my handling capabality back that I loss with going to the bigger tires on the front.

SO what do you think?

Default Question?

That's only a 3" difference between front and rear...should be perfect!

Most tires come narrower in front than back. What you did, was actually run back tires on the front. I can't imagine that you haven't completely killed off the Rancher's sweet handling characteristics.
