First question is, how to test neutral switch?

How to test starter solinoid?

The kick start on catches every fourth or fifth stroke, if gear is broken can I ride and crank with electric starter, without harming anything?

When jump the starter solinoid with a screw driver in just spins the starter, not moving anything, I removed the plug and nothing seems to be moving?

I hit the start swith and nothing is happening, I first check it and it was working and I had fire at the plug, but when turned key off and back on nothing but the lights seem to work, the start button is not.

 

the start button could be the nutural saftey switch ,,,,but is the netural light turning on if so the the switch is prob ok

but if not trace the wires to your transmission there should be two one for netural and one for reverse by either grounding the wires (wich is what i had to do on my friends bombardier to get it to start when it got stuck in foward) or making them +or hot it will turn the light on thus enabling the start button
