Honda 450ER

Just bought a new Honda 450ER. Does anyone know if it's normal for 3rd gear to make a whining noise and be noisier than the other gears?

Honda 450ER

A 450ER is an electric start 450R.
I don't think it should make any more noise in 3rd than it does in other gears.

i just got an 07 about a month ago and i haven't heard anything from any gear. i have never heard of that before tho
