i have a 2004 recon and need to put new brakes on it but i dont know how to get the drums off

 

Take the wheel an tire off an then take the cotter pin an big nut off. It'll slide right off in your hand. If it still won't come off, the brake shoes might need to be adjusted in a little to let the drum come off. The shoe adjuster is under that little red rubber plug on the front of the drum at the bottom. There is 2 of'em in there, one on each end.
