what atv would u reccomend for a 14yr. old?

what atv would u reccomend for a 14yr. old?
i was thinking about a honda trx 300 fw because my boy loves mud and trails or maybe a recon,but i`ve also looked into the new rincon 680efi? any help would be appreciated. thanks,kolby

I would think a rincon would be to much are you talking utility or sport?If utility get the recon.sport get a polaris trailblazer 250,or yamaha blaster.At all costs though I don't recomend a warrior or raptor 350 they imo are boring,terribly underpowered,and have crappy handling.

well i`ve just learned from the mrs. i have a $1200 spending limit.so that a no go on a new fourwheeler.he`s more into the utility so i`m kinda leaning toward a hond 300fw is that a good choice cause i mean he`s gonna beat the tar out of it and i have always heard a 300 was durable.now the only problem is finding one in good shape for that amount.

trx 300 sounds like a good choice. but those recons can take alot of abuse, are fairly fast and a good ride for a teenager. and recons are more in your price range too. also bayou 220's and 250's are tough as s*** too, and cheep to find as well.

Don't forget the Suzuki 250 Ozark, I have a Recon an the wife has a Ozark an one is just about as good as the other.

I would go with the TRX300FW or the recon, I have had them both and I havent seen any others that can take a beating these two can and keep on going, i currently have a 250EX sport quad which practically is the same as a recon,
