Xr100 Question

Default Xr100 Question

Yeah I know these are quad forums but I don't know where else to ask hah.

I was just workin on my old xr and cleaned the air-filter off.. put new oil on it, I took the lid and drilled about 6 small holes in the top just to help it get some extra air because it is pretty restrictive. I also took the spark arrestor out of the pipe. There's no need for a rejet due to that right?

It usually starts first kick with the choke up but it took 7 or 8. Just wondering if I may have done something wrong. There's no back pressure issues without the arrestor is there?

it may be running too lean, due to getting more air from the holes, I would try adjusting the air/fuel screw and go from there
