Default 250EX Bent Axle

Foolishly lent a 250 to my kids friend. He went wide on a turn at high speed, and hit a rock that rolled it (side to side) a couple of times. The rims are all toast, the nerf bars are bent up, and the axle is bent as well. It does look like the front end and steering are ok...thankfully. Of course, the kid's parents have not offered to help with the expenses.....

So, I will be replacing an axle here pretty soon. Anybody done this, and can you give me a rough estimate of your parts cost? I think I might as well replace the bearings as well while I have it apart.

Thanks!

I always replace the stock tires/wheels on all my quads first thing when they are new, so I have a dozen sets of them sitting around that I can use to replace the bent ones. This is probably part of my problem! I took a look at the messed up wheels (not realizing that the axle was bent!), and told the kids parents it wouldn't be a big deal to replace them....
