blowing fuse on 400ex
#1
I have a 2000 honda 400ex, it was running great till last weekend. I was riding all day, stopped for a half hour tried to start it up and nothing happened at all. We pushed started it rode back to the trailer started looking at it, noticed the fuse was blown. Put the new fuse in it, rode for 1/2 hour turned it off and would not start again or turn the headlights on.
It will run now at idle speed, but it keeps cutting out like its loosing power. We have made sure there are not any split wires, frayed wires and made sure it was grounded good.
Anyone have any ideas.
Thanks for the help guys

it will not start even jump start with a blow fuse......so that might have happened after you did something else.
check any addon wiring.....like lights and things than i would slowly work your way through the wiring
