i have a 1986 honda 200sx--4 wheeler and a 1986 honda 250sx--3 wheeler.i am wanting to know if the motor from the 3 wheeler will fit the 4 wheeler?also would the rear plastic fit the 4 wheeler?the motor thats on the 4 wheeler right now needs a piston and it is from a 1986 200x 3 wheeler.any help with this matter?

 

i have no clue...but if the chains are the same you can make the motor work ...may require some custom motor mounts though...

on my parts look up reaserch(86trx 200sx ...86 atc 250sx) one is chain and the other is shaft so i say no...unless you intend to swap the swingers
then with a little fabercation yes..

.you could remove all the plastics and remove the front end off the three wheeler and cut the front of the fourwheeler frame off an have it welded to the threewheeler frame ....

 

you know,i didn't even think about the fact that it was shaft.i forgot that it was.the 4 wheeler already has the whole rear end of an 86-200x on it.do you think if i swapped the swing arm and rear end over,that the axle would interchange? the axle is bad on the 3 wheeler.
