Default Spark Plug wire please help!!!!!!!!

Yes i i have a serious problem.... I was changing the spark plug in my 03 rubicon 500... and when i i was pulling on the cap i pulled the spark plug wire out!!! i looked at the end of the wire and all there was was just bare wires showing. So i just pushed the wire back down in the cap and changed the plug.. i put a ngk D7EA in there which i beleive is the wrong plug?? so anyways i changed the plug and when i went to ride it i got on it pretty hard and its now missing and not running right at all.... So heres the question did i mess the wire up and do i have the wrong spark plug

Cut 1/4 inch off the wire. The cap screws back on the wire.

Default Spark Plug wire please help!!!!!!!!

for what i can find on sparkplugs, OEM recomendations are ngk IJR6A9 for regular rideing. thats an Iridum plug $14.99 @ <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/MMYSkuDisplay.jsp;jsessionid=QMC1CK1EJM0AJLA0WTVSM 4VMDK0NCIV0?leafCatId=11606&catId=116&store=Main&m myId=8197
">http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/...Main&mmyId=8197
</a>

i cant find a regular ngk plug for that model, idk why. i use an Iridum plug in my foreman 450 and it did give me an edge on power, noticeable increase.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I have a question about spark plug caps. Shouldnt a spark plug cap ohm out with little to no resistance? That is ohming the cap from where the plug goes to where the wire goes.

Most caps come with a built in resistor to limit EMF emissions from the coil/plug,otherwise it could interfere with some electronics close by,thats why quad plugs don't have the "r" in the number, like on sleds, you run a BR9ES, a resistor plug,because it has straight caps with no built in resisitor. I can't tell you exactly what you would measure across a quad resistor cap, maybe in the area of 1000 ohms??

95wolv, the cap I am in question of is on my sons Lt50. It reads wide open when I ohm it. Seems like there should be some resistance if not a dead short.
