it is a cable you can instal to dis enguage the 4x4 to make the ranchers run in 2x4! The 424 is made by warn the winch people and can be purchased from 300 to 500 depends where you shop!

put a set of 26" mud tires on it and it will be awsome...lots of brands to choose from ..in my opinion the kenda bear claws are great in the mud and not as heavy as exicutioners ,and some other brands,so the 350 should turn them well

.

I have an older 300FW 4x4 with the warn 424 kit and some 27" exicutioners and lifted to the max ...and i love it ...but the lighter bear claws don't strain the machine as much and 26 is the largest recomended size for the 350 or 300</end quote></div>

My experience with big tires on Ranchers has been mostly negative! All they do is ruin this machine's sweet trail handling, and turn it into a clunker. If you need a monster mud bogger, get a bigger machine and don't try to tune the Rancher into something it was never intended to be.

I save a set of Holeshot ATR's for snow riding, but other than that I run the stock tires and rims.

Yikes. . .

the farmer up the road has 2 Rancher A/Ts one with 5,000mile the other with 7,000 miles both machine are in great running order tho fully stock and unmoded. . .

They routinely get over loaded ran into things obusted, they only get there oil change once every 5,000 miles. . .and he don't even change the filters. . .

so as far as i can they are a rather durable machine. . .

Now in my Rubicon i Run Amsoil 20w-50 and change it every 600 miles as it says in the manual i have 1100 problem free miles and i'm turning 27 inch kenda executioners and i manually shift the sub trans from Ll into D for faster get up n go. . .

I have been shifting commercail grade trucks for years so shifting the sub trans right in que is rather easy for me i wouldn't recommend the avergage joe try it tho. . .

Mike
