i wannna replace all of the gaskets on the quad and repalce the rings and piston . also maybe the valve seals.

first of all the quad smokes and leakes alot of oil.

so if i replace the piston and rings can i jus not bore it out and replace the standard piston and rings.


also how do you get the valves out to replace the valve seals.


help will be very apperciated need to get this quad fixed before chirstmas.

 

You won't know if the cylinder needs to be bored until you remove it and measure it for both clearance and out of round .. You need a valve spring compressor for motorcycles to remove the valves and the guides and valves should be measured before installing new seals ..
