im sure i heard a convo on here about a trx350 or trx300 haveing an auxillary kick start???? am i going crazy thinking a utility had a kick start?

 

The old Honda 300 ute has a backup kick starter.

 

thank you!!!!! i really thought i was going crazy, i posted this under utility and everybody thought i was nuts! any year trx300s, or just some?

 

I'm not 100% sure but I believe early year Recon's,or the old trx 250's had a back up kicker.

 

My neighbor has an old Honda 350 with a kickstart backup, I think is is an 86,could be wrong on the year, but it is a beat up old thing, but still runs fine.

 

I kind of wish they would have kept the kick lever, instead of the pull rope. The big mud crowd is always replacing the pull starter with a block off shield, so mud and grit doesn't get in there and eat the crank seal.

BMW used to have kick levers on some of their longitudinally mounted engines, so you would think Honda could have made something similar.
