Has anyone bought the new vented airbox lid from Powroll? I just saw it on their website and it looks nice. It's molded out of clear plastic so that you can see inside without removing it. It looks sturdy and appears to have two slots molded into it for extra air flow.

I wouldnt wast my money on that it is alot cheaper to just drill some holes in your stock lid thats all they do and they charge like 50 bucks for it, and who cares if it is clear it isnt hard to flip 4 latches and open the lid to look in.

Powroll's web site is www.powroll.com and they have a bunch of stuff for 300EX's. Why would you want a special vented lid when you can drill your own lid? If you ride in varied conditions like I do, sometimes you don't want any holes in your lid. I would use the vented lid in the dunes where there is no mud or water to worry about and where I want to run flat out in top gear. I would not want to permanently alter my airbox either because I frequently charge through huge mud holes in the woods. In addition, they didn't just drill a bunch of holes in the lid. Take a look for yourself.
