CHAIN ALWAYS GETTIN LOOSE?????
#1
My 250X has been having chain problems for the past 2 years. It has a new chain and good sprockets. After 2 hours of riding the chain gets loose and slips. Now I have heard lots of people with the same problem on here so here is what to do. Put the quad in gear and push on the rear tires forward until it wont roll. While holding tire forward check to see if the chain is any looser. Take it to a shop and have them put in new bearings in the front part of the swingarm. Mine were completely shattered and all over. Good luck to u!!

Just a thought but i'd make sure that the two adjusting bolts on the back of the axle housing are on GOOD AND TIGHT, i had the same thing happen to me on my X and i realised that i wasnt tightning them enough and it fixed it. Just a thought

I forgot to mention if your quad does this DON'T RIDE IT!!! It cost me $500.00 because I damaged the rod inside the bearings and it melted so it is expensive. That is a good tip to make sure your bolts are tight on the swingarm. you can also mark the carrier and swingarm with a pencil and ride to see if it's movin. Good luck to u all.
