Looking to get a thumb throttle extender for my wife's Rancher 420. Anyone have any recommendations on a brand/type to look for? I read reviews that some are so long that people with short thumbs (like my wife) had a worse time using one because their thumb could not reach back far enough to reach it. So I assume a throttle extender that is curved back would be best.

We bought the typical wrap around units (mad dog pro), one was bendable, the other wasn't. We both took them off as we found the use of them to be more irritating esp in/on bumpy slow moving situations.

 

Thanks Trailbuzzer. I may hold off on purchasing one and see if my wife can get used to the quad. She's new at ATVing and hopefully her thumb muscles will get stronger over time.

I remember when I first started, my thumb would hurt after a while too. But you buff up over time. There's also twist throttle kits if she'd rather have that. I can't stand twist throttle though! But most people seem to like them.
