hey what do i have to do to make my honda 426 as fast as the honda 440. i read someone has a 426 faster than there 440.

 

The bore itself will not produce much of a difference at all between the 426 and 440. A 3 mod 426 bore will be about the same as a 416 bore which will be about the same as a 440 bore. It's when you get into mods like cam, carb, port and such that the bigger bore will have better reactions to.

So to answer you question it depends upon the setups.

 

i would say jet the carb put a pipe on there. and i knew a guy who did jet and exaust and had a 16 tooth on the front and top end would run with an r.
