When i bought my 300ex it had a loud *** DG pipe/silencer on it. I called a few dealers to see if they had any stock exhaust pipes to put on it for the time being but they only had 400ex exhaust systems. According to the guy at the dealership the 400ex exhaust is considerably longer than the 300ex exhaust and you'd have to modify the hell out of it to get it to fit.
So i just bought a supertrapps exhaust....
I doubt it'll add anything.

I would assume that he is intelligent enough to figure that out or maybe he was thinking about pulling the cork out of the second one and running it like a straight pipe like they did in cars in the old days if he ever lines up against another quad in a drag race. I would have to say that the logic of it is that the 400ex silencer is quiet and it is designed around a 400cc motor so it should flow better for a 300ex. I could do it, but the wife ordered a WB Eseries for hers since it looks cool.
