Default Axle swap '87 250x

Can anyone give me a quick over view on what i need to do to swap the axle out on my 250x. I dont have a service manual right now, and dont have time to get one yet. So i'm not looking for bashing about that. Just a little help.

Thanks!

The same as you would do for a bearing change. On the brake side, take the caliper and the disk off, loosten the locknut, take the circlip off the axle. On the left, take the chain off. Then the axle should push out toward the chain side.

I just got the quad, and have not done anything to it yet, so i dont even know how to change the bearings. It came with a replacement axle since the one on now is kinda messed up...
Anything else to know?
