i've seen people post about this before, do crf450r's timing chains also work in 400ex's and work the way it's suppose to, and in the long run also, thank you, i have seen people post about this b-4, it's said to be cheaper and heavier duty, the cheaper part is super true, @ my local shop, the 400 chain is 119.00 and the crf's are 43.00, big difference, i just wish someone could give me some advice on this as i am getting one but do not know if i can trust the info i have seen and do not want to chance messing my quad up, someone please help

 

Maybe nobody knows. Can you go to a Honda shop and look at both?

 

no my nearest shop has to order both,which is weird to me, thanx for the reply though, nobody seems to wanna give any advise on this one, i'm gonna just go with the crf chain, i've been reading about it over and over again, and it sounds like a cheap and good way to upgrade to a heavier chain

lol, thankyou both very much, but i'm new here and i didn't know how to do a search and didn't know you can do one, but thank you very very much, this helped alot, i am going to go with the 450 chain, and after it's on i will post and let you know, that way other people like me can feel a lil better bout it also

Over on the right hand side, you should see a pair of binoculars and the word search. Just below that, you'll see the area to type your request.
